Dennings was with the "2 Broke Girls" co-star, Nick Zano, from 2011 to the year 2014. After the breakup her relationship, she began to date the singer Josh Groban. They stayed together to the year 2016. In early 2021, Dennings met singer Andrew W.K. They began dating in early 2021 and then confirmed their wedding date in May. Dennings has been a fan since the year 2014. Dennings has admitted that, while she was Jewish and grew to be part of the Jewish community at a social and ethnic basis, religion doesn't play a significant aspect of her daily day life. Her hobbies include gardening, reading as well as painting. She had plans to enroll in an art college were foiled after her portfolio was damaged in a flooding.
