Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole daughter born to Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former employee in a manufacturing plant. She was born on 10 March 1958in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly, Patrick. She is one from three sister. Stone has a talent in the classroom as a young child, began her second-grade education at age five. She graduated from Saegertown High School in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. A winner of Miss Crawford County, she was also a part of her first Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone together with her Aunt in 1977, moved into New Jersey for a modeling job. Stone signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week after. Stone soon moved to Europe, spending a year in Milan and Paris. Stone was unhappy with the modeling market in Europe, and chose to pursue acting instead. She appeared at 20 in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories," the film which got mixed receptions.
