Vickie took an unintentional break in 2009 after leaving WWE before returning as an official consultant for SmackDown and devoting her services to Dolph Zigggler as he held the World Heavyweight Title briefly under her tutelage. Guerrero was promoted to Raw's managing supervisor on Monday nights following a short hiatus in the year 2009. Her choices caused her to break up with Ziggler and earned her the ire of The McMahon Family whose conflicting opinions of Vickie resulted in a public job evaluation. WWE Universe also rated Guerrero's job, in addition Mr. McMahon. The WWE App poll revealed that 75% of WWE Universe members felt Guerrero was not performing her duties well and this led to Guerrero being sacked. After a total meltdown and a failed attempt at rallying the WWE Universe behind her Vickie was surprisingly rehired as Director of SmackDown by the late Mr. McMahon just weeks after her dismissal from Raw. Vickie followed The Authority's orders in the weeks that followed and ended up once more in hot waters. Vickie Guerrero sat Roman Reigns down in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match Qualification Battle Royal, against Stephanie McMahon's orders. Vickie was forced to put her job on the line following week, and was forced to compete against Stephanie McMahon. This bizarre event was held in a tub saturated with an unpleasant brown substance. Stephanie fired Vickie when Stephanie won by tossing her into the sour-smelling mess. Vickie went home on a high note after she tossing Stephanie and was not aware of the incident, into viscous soup!
