She was born in Santa Monica, California on 26 November, 1986. She is the daughter her father Vincenzo Barba and mother Valerie Barba. Six years ago, the family relocated to Point Pleasant New Jersey. Red Bank Catholic High School was where she got the formal education she needed in New Jersey. After that, she went to Catholic University and graduated with an undergraduate degree in architecture. When she was 4, she began to play the violin. She earned the title Violin Girl. It was because of her talent that she went under the title Violin Girl. Also, she was a violin teacher for the children of the surrounding area. In the six season of American Idol, she sang Free in 1976 when she was nineteen. She was eliminated when she was ranked 16th. There were many songs she performed, such as the 2009's "The Christmas Song" and 2010's Out for Blood. The singer has also been featured on TV shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live! Antonella Barba became famous as an American when she competed on American Idol's 6th season. She also began acting in television shows after she was removed from the competition after she reached the top 16. She pleaded guilty having greater than 400 grams fentanyl, with the intention of distribute it in July. She was arrested while in the process of delivering more than two pounds of the substance to a stash house located in Virginia in the month of October.
